Safeguarding Statement
At All Saints Kesgrave we regard Safeguarding with the utmost priority. All of our leaders and volunteers are trained in Safeguarding procedures, whilst any worker who may be in contact with vulnerable people is also subject to government DBS checks. We have adopted the Church of England House of Bishops safeguarding policy called “Promoting a Safer Church” and the details for parishes can be viewed in the Parish Safeguarding Handbook. Our safeguarding training is available here. Our simple commitments to you are shown in the poster below, which is also available on our church noticeboard in the porch.
If you know anyone who you think may be suffering abuse or may be abusing someone, you can always seek advice. To help with this we provide the various local Church contacts plus additional contacts for some specific situations. If your situation is an emergency please always dial 999.
